When Kelly and Josh invited me to shoot their wedding in Cancun, Mexico, I couldn’t think of a better place for this amazing couple to tie the knot.

The entire trip was one backdrop after another.  Such a beautiful resort is a photographer’s dream.

Everyone was in great spirits as we headed down to the ceremony site on the water.

The ceremony was just before the sunset giving a beautiful effect as everyone lined up.

Josh’s friend played a beautiful rendition of “Over the Rainbow” on the ukulele while Kelly walked down the isle.

The ceremony had a couple of tears and a couple of laughs… just what you want.  It’s so amazing to see a couple look at each other with so much love.

With all their closest friends and family supporting them, they became Mr. and Mrs. Motz.

Next, we headed down the beach to take advantage of the beautiful scenery surrounding us.

We ended the evening with a mariachi band and a beautiful reception.

Thank you so much for sharing your special day with me Kelly and Josh!  It is clear that you are so in love.  Your amazing families and friends will ensure that you have a long happy life together.

I always look forward to shoots where we can just relax, walk around, and find some cool little places in Chicago.  Annie and Tim are a great couple and I was so excited to be able to shoot their engagement portraits.

It was a pretty cold day in November so props to Annie for her cute little dress.

We found some pretty cool spots around their neighborhood of Wicker Park, which I have been wanting to shoot in for some time.

After we had our fill of Wicker Park, we traveled down to Wrigley Field….. one of Annie and Tim’s favorite places.  Go Cubbies!

We ended the day at the Adler Planetarium…. or so we thought!  It was super cold and windy so we snapped some great pictures of Tim, and then Annie and her dress jumped in for some quick final shots.
